It was convenient for our appointments. The place was like a home, it had 3 levels, not what we expected - the bottom level, which was a garage made into an apartment, contained a lounge area, a bathroom, a double bed bedroom, and a laundry area, with soap powder provided, near the back door, which led out to a back yard with a garden and clothes line. The outdoor area was a great, safe space for the children in the sunshine. My 11-year-old daughter enjoyed cutting the lawn with the hand/push lawn mower we found in the yard shed. This level provided a workspace for my husband. There were stairs leading up to another level that contained another lounge with a TV, a dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen. This provided an area for my girls to do their schoolwork. Then another set of stairs led up to the master bedroom, a single room with two beds and a large bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. Well set out and furnished. The little artificial plants decorated the place nicely. Loved that we had our own car park right by the home.

There was no indoor clothes rack, which would have been convenient for overnight drying, especially the night we had big winds. My daughters were disappointed there was a limit on the hot water, meaning they couldn't have a bath every night. The one night they had a bath around 5 pm, the water was still cold at 11 pm. We used the dishwasher once and came back to a flooded kitchen floor, so we decided not to use it again. Glad we had bought extra tea towels with us. The washing machine display didn't show, but the machine still worked. The shelf in the top shower looked like it was ready to fall/break, and I was worried my children would finish it off. The water in the top shower had strong pressure and sprayed out on the floor when you turned it on, so we recommend you make sure it is facing the far wall before turning it on. The top stairs light and one in the master bedroom didn't work, but we managed; it was ok. We notified the hosts, and hopefully, all is fixed next time we want to stay there. I wouldn't recommend it to someone who has just had surgery, as too many stairs to climb.

Great space and facilities. Really it is an house rather than an apartment. It also has a large outdoor space. Private parking away from sight is excellent and 5 steps to the front door. Tonnes of natural light and maintained to a good and comfortable standard.

It is quite close to a pub / restaurant which created a lot of late night noise especially on weekends. Shutting the rooms affected by them doesn't help that much because of the single glazed windows. But the apartment has blinds as well as curtains to deal with much of the noise.

Location was very central to all the places we wanted to go to. The unit was well stocked for our needs.

Our one tiny complaint was the fan in the bathroom was very loud especially as its turned on with the light switch.
