الجوهرة الطابة للنزل السياحية

Beds were comfortable, clean washroom, near to Haram around 10 minute walk, many resturants near by

The guy asked for cash even though they had a card machine, so I paid in cash. I asked for a receipt/proof of payment, but they did not give me one. At first, I thought everything was fine, but after my checkout I received a message from Booking.com saying that I had not shown up at the hotel and that I had to pay the full amount again. Luckily, I was in Madinah, so I went directly to the hotel and clarified the situation. A staff member who handled Booking.com reservations came and resolved the issue. Lessons learned: 1. Do not pay in cash (they may insist, but just don’t). 2. Ask them to confirm/check in your booking on Booking.com immediately.
