Gorgeous location, very cool building, nice facilities, great to have breakfast included. I was shocked by how beautiful the grounds were. I spent some time exploring the property. When it was time to check out, I could quickly get to the trailhead of the Seaford to Eastbourne coastal walk via the golf course.
I thought the 5pm check-in was a little late. Even though there was a breakfast, calling the accommodation a bed and breakfast set up my expectation for a cooked breakfast and some chitchat with the hosts. I was missing the homey feel that a bed and breakfast often has. I also was on the look-out for more information on the history of the building. I liked the historical 'For sale' articles you had posted in the kitchen area, but wished there was more information prominently featured.

Loved that the apartment had lots of space… really clean and well laid out. Breakfast was lovely and the main house had lots of character. Would definitely consider staying here again. The garden is nice to chill after breakfast ans there was plenty of room that you did not feel like you was with anyone (accept at breakfast time on the big long tables)
Everything was good … we arrived super late (early morning after gig and found it hard to find the apartment. Would be great if there was a little sign of map near the door … the picture on website showed a white door and email a dark door so that was a little confusing but no big deal

"It’s a very elegant, peaceful and cosy place. You can walk to the cliffs in no time and enjoy the views. I really liked it."
