The location was great, in a quieter area of Dorsoduro but still an easy walk to the neighborhood square, which has more restaurants and a livelier atmosphere. The apartment is beautiful and very clean, with a lovely courtyard. We especially enjoyed watching the boats pass by the window. We really enjoyed our stay here.
There was an occasional sewage smell, especially after showering. This seemed to be fairly typical of Venice, though, as we also noticed the smell occasionally while walking through the streets. Also, if you are sensitive to noise, be aware that you can hear boats throughout the night. It wasn't a problem for us after walking around all day and being especially tired, but it is something to keep in mind.

The apartment was perfect for our romantic getaway! A blend of historical architecture with modern elements that was very convenient to shops and restaurants. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and amenities are all very luxurious. The canal view was AMAZING and the garden delightful. When I return to Venice, I hope to book this apartment again.
