The host was the best ever! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and safe at all times, especially during the storm that hit El Nido while we were there. He even made us pancakes for breakfast. It’s clear that he genuinely loves what he does and is committed to providing the best possible service. I would definitely recommend this accommodation, and I wish him every success with his hotel.

We absolutely loved our one night at Bahay by LA Mar and were sad to leave. As soon as we got on our expedition boat, we immediately missed the peace and quiet. There is an outdoor kitchen, fridge, shared dining areas and a bar! This is perfect and peaceful. It's 5 minutes from the beach and Lamar had a tuk tuk waiting for us. He also went out of his way on my birthday to make me breakfast and find a Philippino specialty rice that I love. I can't wait to come back. Stay here for peace, quiet, luxury, conversation, relaxation and proximity to EVERYTHING. This is the PERFECT stay. And zero party noise from the beaches of El nido.

The little bungalows. I got the far right room, with a window upstairs. The left next door bungalow has no window. I visited to be close to the beach and airport for one night stay. The owner organised a scooter and staff dropped me at the airport. The owner lives on property. I had a fever and cold he made me ginger tea. The owner is kind. He also plays house music, so does his neighbour at monkey hostel next door. He’s a Dj so was entertaining staying there.

Mosquitos at night time in the shared kitchen, outdoor shared area. I mentioned it to owner who sprayed the area but I was already bitten 🥲it was rainy season when I stayed overnight
