The cottage was warm and cozy, it is centrally heated and beds were comfortable. We didn’t eat at the house as plenty of places to go out to eat near by. The cottage was easy to find and has a large drive which we were able to turn the car around so we could drive out.
It was a pity we were only in Castlemaine for the weekend, there was so many more things to see in the goldfields area.

The host provided a very generous selection for breakfast, finding a good mix of local and domestic food which made our stay feel personalised and very welcome.
Nothing to fault! Our host found a set of earrings which we had left behind and very kindly offered to post them to us, which reiterated the thoughtfulness and warmth of the stay.

Very comfortable, very well appointed with top quality appliances and very handy location.
We needed to check in a bit earlier and our host was happy to oblige
