Beautiful home on Isle of Capri! We loved how the area didn’t feel as touristy as Marco and it was very very quiet and calm, despite it being 4th of July weekend! The house is the perfect mix of modern coastal chic, but with traditional touches that make it feel like a true Florida home. Bed was super comfortable, essentially all the furniture and TVs were brand new. Everything was clean and came with boxed and sealed toiletries just for our use (no sharing a half bottle of shampoo from the last guest!). Now here is my favorite parts: around 4 or 5 a flock of Ibis (birds) walk across the lawn, it’s neat to see the up close and you can tell the locals respect them as they are not afraid to come through the lawns. My second favorite was the amazing mango tree! As someone from up north, my mind was blown that what would be a more expensive fruit in my home state, was just simply falling in the backyard from this gorgeous tree.
