Great situation. Large comfy room. Large comfy bed. Big bathtub. Double shower. Complementary chocolates. Friendly staff.

Waiting around a bit at check in - they don’t have service on hand.
Bathroom was a bit odd, no cover on the shower it got very wet.

Wonderful historic building with masses of old world atmosphere - wood panelling, sloping floors. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Really good shower. Nice espresso coffee at breakfast. Nice light room for breakfast. Chocs/sweets a nice touch.
Expensive for what it was. Coffee machine but no pods. Breakfast - poor croissant, tough scrambled egg and the toast it was on was brick hard. Serving of toast was very dry. Superficially the hotel had been decorated but when you look all the paintings are just digital prints - couldn't they find any real ones? Room 2 - window was absolutely filthy on the outside, bathroom needs a coat of paint, loo needs a descale.
