Discover the perfect Up North retreat on the pristine shores of South Lake Leelanau! Make this gorgeous waterfront cabin on an all-sports & fishing lake your next getaway! Walk-out ice fishing, boating, and swimming! We have kayaks, paddleboards, and rowboats available for your use. Bring your boat or rent our pontoon boat and enjoy the benefits of a shared 120' community dock with boat slips. Fishing cleaning station, sandy swimming areas, sandbox, volleyball, & more within the Rustic Resort!
We will provide your personal passcode for the keyless door lock one week before your stay.
When you book a Traverse City Getaway home, you’re renting directly from a small, family-owned business that personally owns and operates all 15 of our homes.
Our guests really matter to us. When you message or call, we’re the ones who answer. We take pride in our homes and the guest experience we provide, and we do everything we can to make your stay amazing.

This home features our favorite mattresses, paddle boards, kayaks, and brand new furniture!

Upstairs: 2 King Bedrooms, Full Bathroom, Daybed with 2 twin beds in the living room
We have 4 adult lifejackets, 2 youth lifejackets (50-90 lbs.), 1 child lifejacket (30-50 lbs.), and 1 infant lifejacket for your use.
We partner with Shady Lane Cellars to provide you with "buy one, get one free" wine tasting and with Suttons Bay Bikes to give you 10% off e-bikes, bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and tours. Many guests enjoy riding the Tart Trail to Shady Lane Cellars for wine tasting!
Get $25 off a Freshwater Therapy fishing guide trip as our way of saying thank you for stay with us!
We’ve partnered with Stocked, a local grocery delivery service, to make your arrival effortless. Your delivery fee is covered — simply order ahead, and walk into a home with your groceries already waiting.
The house is professionally cleaned between each guest.
Leelanau Rustic Resort does not allow guests to have pets. We do have 13 properties that do allow pets, please inquire about those if you are hoping to bring your pet!
We have 4 parking spaces.
Typically, we only rent our pontoon on a weekly basis. Please inquire about availability.
As part of our effort to help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered
with Safely.com to provide you with the protection below. The cost of this
protection is a $40 guest insurance fee and covers you for
accidental damages during your stay.
The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $3,000 of coverage
for accidental contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental

We’ve stayed in many cabins over the years, and this was by far our favorite!Kelsey was an exceptional host and truly made our stay memorable. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive to every question we had, and when our plans changed unexpectedly, she was more than accommodating. She checked in when we arrived and continued to touch base throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. That level of care made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. She even left us a thoughtful gift of chocolate-covered cherries, which was such a sweet touch and made us feel even more welcome.The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt like a home away from home. Everything was thoughtfully organized, with helpful signs and clear instructions that made settling in effortless. The lake across the street was absolutely amazing and a huge hit with our four teenage boys. We spent hours enjoying the kayaks and paddleboard, making memories we’ll never forget.This was the perfect family getaway, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. When we return to Michigan, we’ll absolutely be booking with Kelsey and Joe again. Thank you both for such a wonderful and unforgettable stay!

We had a great time at the Cedar cabin. The house was clean, well stocked with that we needed. The beds were very comfortable too. The lake views are second to none there as well. Great hosts and very easy to communicate with!

Beautiful property in a beautiful area! We enjoyed the house thoroughly. The sauna was a nice amenity, with an excellent view of Lake Leelanau.Our hosts were in communication throughout our trip and committed to ensuring our expectations were exceeded. We would stay again, without question.
