Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in Gulf Shores at San Carlos. Condo 801 was very roomy and came equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and updated with with comfortable and appealing furnishings. The location on the 8th floor was perfect and provided great views of the beach and the ocean. The complex is only a short walk to a lot of great offerings.My only minor gripe (which other reviewers have commented on) is the parking situation. You must pay a $50 fee to purchase a required parking pass. There are two areas available to park with one being the immediate area in and around the complex which provides very limited space for parking during peak season. The other is in a designated lot across a 4 lane highway. The crossing to get to this lot isn't remotely near a traffic light or crosswalk, and there is no center island so I found myself playing chicken with oncoming traffic each and every day retrieving and parking my car. Crossing the road in the dark added another level to the challenge. Had the $50 fee secured me a spot by the complex, I would not have a complaint, nor would I have a complaint if the lot across the street had been free parking and I personally chose to run the gauntlet.I would give this property a 5 star rating if there wasn't a parking issue, but the safety implications of crossing the 4 lane road after having to pay a $50 parking fee are an issue for me.

We enjoyed our stay in this unit. The view was amazing. The elevator wait wasnt long at any time.

This apartment is EXACTLY as shown on VRBO. HUGE balcony. It’s really nice and has lots of dishes, pots and utensils. Full kitchen. No spices so bring some of that.
