Le Moulin, Lourmarin, a Beaumier Hotel

Le Moulin was an incredibly unique property that maintained historic and architectural charm while being very comfortable with excellent temperature control. The decor throughout the common areas and room was elegant and modern. Despite being in an old mill, all areas had abundant natural light. The pool area and terrace were beautiful for people watching. The staff provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and visiting non touristy villages and for hiking and cycling routes. We really appreciated being able to relax without having to spend long researching the area thanks to their well curated recommendations. Lourmarin was our favourite village we visited and it was a joy to immerse ourselves in the village life while staying in the middle of it all. Free parking was easy and abundant (we stayed in end of September). Breakfast and other food in the hotel was fantastic featuring high quality local produce.

The housekeepers did not always top up the tea bags in the room but it was impeccably clean

Das Hotel liegt inmitten des schönen Ortes Loumarin in der Provence. Das Decor des Hotels ist sehr ansprechend und gehoben ausgewählt und passt perfekt zum provencalischen Stil ohne altmodisch zu wirken. Das Hotelrestaurant bietet ein sehr abwechslungsreiches Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten, es schmeckte hervorragend. Das normale Standard Doppelzimmer war zwar sehr klein und recht schwer zu erreichen ( nicht im Haupthaus ), dafür war es aber sehr hübsch eingerichtet und hatte ein recht geräumiges Bad. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Der hauseigene Coffeeshop war sehr schön und die Keramiken im ganzen Hotel ein Traum.

Die Treppe im Anbau war sehr steil und sehr schwer zu begehen, erhöhte Sturzgefahr durch glatte abfallende Bodenfliesen. Zimmerpreise im Verhältnis zu teuer.
