Colchester Boutique Hotel

Informative and enthusiastic manager. Stunning four poster bed

TV could have been bigger. Damaged my car entering car park... very narrow

A total gem...we had travelled over for a funeral, had never been to Colchester before so we were tired and emotional by the time we arrived around 7pm. Danny met us with a big smile and his infectious enthusiasm for the hotel and Colchester was a tonic. He was full of local knowledge and keen to make our short stay as good as possible and he absolutely did. We slept well, everything you could need in our room (5) very well equipped with tea, coffee, water, biscuits, hot chocolate etc...Our breakfast was very nice, fresh hot coffee and lots of fruit, bagels, yoghurt and pastries. Danny was busy drawing us a map to help us find the crematorium when we went to check out. Every hotel needs a "Danny" he made a difficult and emotional time for us so much easier. His kindness and attention to the small details that matter so very much will live long in our memory. Thank you Danny.

Accommodatie was de slechtste van de hele reis. Gedateerd, sjofel, kitsch. Bloedheet, geen raam kon open. Vreemde inrichting (wastafel op kniehoogte?). We begrijpen de goede scores / reviews van de accommodatie niet.
