Nice cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Easy to park and register. Sufficient good quality towels and warm bedding
Bathroom - no shelves for toiletries, because its an old building there were places that could have done with being updated. Location of existing electrical sockets not ideal (kettle and bedside). No lighting by bedroom mirror

The staff were excellent and the food was great.
The rooms could do with a bit of attention. Lick of paint and some tlc around each one. The shower in the room I stayed in didn’t stay up, so that was a bit annoying.

The breakfast I had was a traditional fried breakfast which ticked all the boxes. The coffee from the flask wasn't the hottest and as I like a milky coffee, I'm not sure the milk was either. The locale was great for what I needed and the staff were very nice, very polite and very helpful. They cannot be faulted. The bed was large and very comfortable. There were coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
The room was OK, the bathroom décor was a bit 'tired' and the bath was a bit narrow for shower purposes. The floor was a bit creaky when walking and you could hear the upstairs person moving around when he/she did so. The corners of the room could do with a bit deeper cleaning when it's carried out.

The property is conveniently located near my conference venue. The pub offers excellent food and outstanding service. There is also a Londi’s directly across the street.
I could feel the dust on the bed as soon as I sat down. I am allergic to dust mites, and within five minutes, I developed hives across my thighs. In general, there was a significant amount of dust throughout the property, including on the TV remote control. The toilet and shower were also very outdated, as were the room doors. I felt unsafe during my stay.
