Location, view, the staff, great service, spacious room and Beer is just a lovely little village

Nothing really. No large beer selection but simple well priced pub food

Great location, comfortable room, good food and service

Unfortunately no parking at the location but there is a public carpark a few minutes walk away with reasonable prices

Great location on the village, really close to the beach, and a sea view from our room!

It’s a little run down around the edges and maybe overdue a re decoration.

I hadn’t booked breakfast (my fault). When I came downstairs to ask for a table I was given a brunch menu. I ordered a cooked English as no lighter options were available I then saw there was a residents menu on another table including continental breakfast options. I would have preferred to order from this but because I hadn’t booked a table I couldn’t, I was told. I don’t understand why I couldn’t have a packet of Alpen and a round of toast. Very strange. I will say the freshly cooked breakfast was excellent, just a bit more than I needed. In the room, the sink drain needed a good descale and clean. Ditto the toilet. An overpowering smell of disinfectant in the bathroom was offputting.
