Welcome to Red Door Retreat, a dog-friendly Beaverdale home in Des Moines near Drake University. This 4-bedroom retreat sleeps up to 10 with comfortable gathering spaces, a bright kitchen, and a fully fenced backyard with fire pit patio, outdoor dining, and propane grill. 5 min to Drake, 10-12 min to downtown, 20-25 min to DSM Airport. Dogs welcome (no pet fee; extra cleaning may apply). Not child-proofed; may be unsafe for babies/small children. No parties. No smoking or vaping.

We welcome well-behaved adult dogs with no additional pet fee. We stock the home with practical dog essentials — just bring your dog’s food and favorite toy.

If extra cleaning is required due to accidents, excessive hair, or damage, additional charges may apply.
