Beautiful house in Madeira, 40 minutes from the airport—but quieter than the east and warmer, not as hectic as the capital—yet only 20 minutes away from it.
Wonderful tropical garden with a pool and ocean view. Just 190 meters above sea level, close to the beach, in a nice little town.
The house is cozy and big enough for a family; the pool area has toys, an outdoor grill, outdoor seating, sun loungers, a ping-pong table, and a cozy seating area. Great view of the ocean even from the bedroom, a yoga hammock, and palm trees...

Every room has a TV, including the living room.
You can hike along the levadas right from the house. For me, the most beautiful levada is in Ponta-do-Sol, just 3 minutes away.
The small town is a nice place to have breakfast at the Pharmazie or dinner on the beach.
The most beautiful sunset is in Ponta-do-Sol at the Poente restaurant on the small terrace (with an Aperol...).
A car is handy; you can reach a lot by bus, but not everything. There’s a private parking spot right by the house (at the entrance).
It takes a maximum of 30 minutes to drive up to the plateau from here—it’s the best spot for excursions and the starting point for countless levadas.
