Very mixed feelings, on the one hand, the room was beautifully and thoughtfully designed, with amazing bathroom doors, beautiful sinks, high-quality finishes, and lovely details

on the other hand, the entrance to the room number 2 was from a street just off the main pedestrian area. It’s not only used by people but also by scooters riding along the narrow streets. During the day, it’s not particularly noticeable, but at night you can hear absolutely everything, it feels as if someone were rolling a suitcase right next to your bed and having a conversation there, probably great idea for suites in terms of seaside but not for the city center another downside was the shelf in the shower. We all understand the importance of cleanliness, but some areas in the shower without immediate maintenance are simply impossible to clean properly, and the moisture that accumulates there has led to mould and mildew what was even more disappointing was that despite the room being cleaned every day, nobody mentioned or addressed the condition of the bathroom so probably that was not a fresh topic, this was most shocking part, even after stay response from owners try to shift responsibility on the room inspections on the guests, from my perspective simply unfair but we can have different perspectives

The Eteon was lovingly restored by Theranos and Georgia just over a year ago and they have impeccable taste and execution. More than once we said we wished we could hire them to renovate our home. The interior is straight out of architecture digest with organic and local materials used. The exterior is in beautiful old town Chania where you walk right out to the beautiful restaurant, shops and waterfront minutes away. The owners were very helpful in every way

I wasn’t aware that the junior suite is a ground unit. You can directly access it from the square right in front. Unfortunately, for the Friday and Saturday nights I stayed, it was incredibly raucous, with drunk people loudly talking at all hours of the night until 4 am. I basically couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, as I heard everything through my earplugs. When I left the unit for my taxi at 4:20, there were 3 men sitting there and talking. Although they were harmless, I just personally didn’t feel safe with the entrance being so public. Definitely go for this place for the vibe and interior only if you can sleep through absolutely anything. I am definitely sensitive and wouldn’t recommend other sensitive people stay here. There are no facilities at this hotel. It’s just the room. So if you want a pool or gym, you might want to look elsewhere.
