This was our home base for our trip to Acadia. It is an hour drive to the park and off the beaten path but so quiet and peaceful. I would have liked to spend more time at the house, just relaxing! We enjoyed the fire pit and access to the beach. Ellsworth was our stop to stock on groceries at Wal Mart before heading to the house to checkin. There is also a closer grocery for fill in needs. Brittany was very responsive and pleasant.
