Teignmouth sits at the mouth of the river Teign and has two beaches, the Main Beach, which is perfect for swimming and sunbathing, as well as the characterful River or Back Beach which is bustling with fishing boats, water sports, bars, pubs and restaurants offering fresh seafood or fish and chips. It is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the fantastic views of the estuary and the fabulous sunsets. Teignmouth has good rail connections to London, Birmingham and Manchester.
