Wonderful cottage with tasteful renovation but in keeping with the age. Very well equipped.

Very minor comment but would be useful to have an oven glove. Also gates difficult to open and close.

Lovely location with lots of walks on the door step, and within walking distance of the beach. Also a small quiet play area outside the cottage ideal for children. Cottage was clean with lovely comfortable beds with crisp white bed linen and soft white towels. Plenty of hot water and heating when required. The kitchen had all the equipment you could wish for and we loved the history of the family displayed on the walls around the cottage. The cottage was quirky but had been modernised to a high standard.

Unfortunately the cottage allows dogs and there were black hairs all over the sofa and cushions. Particularly disappointing as one of our party is allergic to dog hairs and her eyes started watering as soon as she entered the cottage.
