The location was very good, very central. The apartment had great views. The fan in the bedroom and the air con in the living room were wonderful as we experienced untypicallly hot weather. The owner showed us the best place to park and gave us useful information about supermarkets, restaurants etc.

I don't know whose responsibility this is but not for the first time using Booking.com the photographs were very misleading. I chose the apartment because I was led to believe it had a patio area where we could sit. It did not. Even this email shows a photo of the patio which did not belong to the apartment we booked. Fortunately for us, the attic apartment was empty so we were able to use this space. Customers should not have to forensically scrutinise every aspect of the description to try and figure out what they are booking. Even after we had booked the apartment all subsequent correspondence led with the same photograph. We arrived in Candeleda after 10 days in Salamanca where, for the same daily rate we had a much bigger apartment with more modern equipment and a lift. I don't know if it is fair to make comparisons but we felt we didn't receive value for money in Candeleda compared to Salamanca.
