Host was very welcomming by email, asking what I needed even after checkin date. Location near bus stop and city center. Fridge, washing machine and dishwasher available in the room.
3 floors upstairs, but still acceptable. You cannot choose your room (floor) from booking. You have washing machine but not a dryer.. I just dried my clothes on top of the bed or hunging from the cealing.

Great location, makes you feel like a local having to enter an apartment building in the university part of town
The mattress of the bed doesn't reach the wall so it would be nice if there was a proper headboard as the pillows kept slipping down the back and the mattress wasn't the comfiest after a while, maybe that's just personal preference though.

Good location; the room was clean and tidy. Good communication with the receptionist.
At the time of check-in, there was no heating in the apartment, even though the listing indicated it was available. It was very cold. The administrator explained that the Booking.com platform did not allow them to specify in the description that the heating is centralized and does not start in Riga until mid-October. Consequently, a significant drawback of the accommodation was not reflected on the website. Resolving the issue took some time, which was disappointing. However, if this issue were addressed, the accommodation would generally be a decent choice for tourists.

"Excellent place, very good value for money. Close to city center and old town (two opposite directions). Fully equipped kitchen for a short stay."
