Der Panoramablick auf die Teeplantagen und die Berge ist atemberaubend. Wir saßen stundenlang auf dem Balkon und genossen einfach die Aussicht. Die Gastfreundschaft ist unübertroffen – die Familie half uns dabei, unsere Zugreisen und Ausflüge in der Umgebung reibungslos zu organisieren.

Very modern and spacious rooms compared to other guesthouses in the hill country. The hot water pressure was excellent, which is rare in the mountains. The hosts are incredibly attentive and serve tea whenever you sit out on the balcony to watch the mist roll over the valley.

An absolute paradise in the clouds! The view from the balcony at sunrise is something I will never forget. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The family treats you like royalty, and the home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast was the best I’ve had on my trip so far.

The rooms were huge and a The views magnificent. The hotel was very remote in the middle of a village which was insightful into local life but felt a little too remote for us. We had a great sunrise at Lipton seat and the hotel organised the tuk tuk and we really enjoyed the 8 km hike back down.

there was very little to do in the immediate area and your only options for food and drink are the hotel. The dining area was very odd in the kitchen with one table and no ambience at all. The hotel is basically only possible because of the delightful son of the owners, he is the only one with any English and he helped his parents who could not speak English. We found the experience stifling and a little weird, it felt like more of a home stay than a hotel. we also had a very apologetic random guy walk into the room in the late evening who I assume was a family member. Upon leaving a night early we were charged full amount for 2 night and also charged for welcome tea and biscuits and breakfast drinks and bottled water for dinner. Overall I cannot recommend unless you are just here for views and hiking!
