The rating looked bad but the price was good for my budget. I was informed by a couple of locals told me it had been took over, so l was very happy

Room was spacious and clean bed was comfortable. Breakfast cook does not arrive until 0900 we tried it once but was not impressed. However just across the road is a breakfast cafe which do excellent meals and it is open from 0800 there are also several cafes on Roker Beach. The hotel is very reasonable price wise. and the location is just opposite the beach.
Breakfast times to late could do with being earlier.

Large room with a bath, free parking and WiFi. Lovely Sunday roast and friendly staff.
Hotel was being renovated so the room was waiting for a ‘makeover’

accommodation good, but its more of a pub:
Breakfast and meal options not good, locally there was lots of other options.
