The entry system was very easy to use. I was provided with an entry code that enabled access for the front door and appartment.

Everything was great!

Location was prefect and walking distance to the city. Property was high end quality with furnishings ect that i would expect for the price paid. The bed was lovely and big with a very comfortable perfect nights sleep. My self and the wife do many stays around the uk and Europe every year and its a contender for luxury but a few other things need to be improved for the amount being charged to be warranted i think.

Firstly a bond of £300 was not mentioned when booking but not a problem as i would expect this to happen on all apartments like this. I would of expected booking.com to include this when booked with my card details, but wasn’t the case and the owner chased. But all sorted on day of arrival. Next for the amount paid in the past of other apartments (different companies), owners have given a welcome pack, including fresh milk and not long life uht sachets, bottle of wine and chocolates. These are just a few things that gives it a wow factor. We stayed here for 2 nights, it felt that i was only allowed 1 cup of tea each day as only 2 bags provided. And also no tea towel for drying cutlery and plates after use. No member of staff to inform, restaurant below is not affiliated with the apartment. In the bathroom area near sinks I feel that a ledge/ shelf is needed, no where to place aftershaves / deodorants ect, and wife mentioned the lighting was dull or tinted for applying makeup ect. If bits above could be addressed that would be perfect and make ours and others’ experiences a 10 out of 10. The velux window above the bed, found the remote for controlling the blind but it never worked, kitchen area works fine. So wide awake as the sun came up.

Fabulous apartment - great decor, super clean and very comfortable luxurious beds.

Everything about the place was geared up to be absolutely fantastic. The location. The style. The restaurant reservations. The fact that we chose to stay here instead of booking into a standard Hilton or Marriot etc meant that it took my eye and looked to be perfect for what we wanted.

Everything that was excellent about the place was let down by the fact that not once did anyone mention or say that there was going to be HEAVY drilling and building works beneath us from 8:30am until check-out on the Tuesday. I booked for two nights and was awake from very early both days due to building works. I would not have booked here if I had of known about this and i was due on a conference call at 9:30am and had to leave the premises because I could not find any quiet space in any room. I had a six hour drive home and was not relaxed. I felt like I had wasted money by not getting the good night sleep and well deserved lie-in that I could have had! The doors also slam really badly in the whole accommodation. I even nearly got trapped in the living room because the door handle came off in my hand! I was offered 20% off my next visit. I would not be going back to that accommodation which is a real shame because I was really looking forward to that visit! :(
