FALL AT THE CABIN

This is the season the deck earns its keep. Coffee outside while the ridge is still fogged in, the grill going at dusk, then the hot tub once the temperature drops and the string lights come on. SLEEPING

Two bedrooms sit on the same floor, each with a real bed and room to move around it, one of them with an ensuite bathroom. The loft upstairs is the kids' territory: futons, a bean bag chair, a TV of their own, and a railing they can hang over to yell down at the grown-ups. Extra pillows and blankets are stocked in a basket, and fresh towels and basic toiletries are already in both bathrooms.



COOKING AND EATING

The kitchen is a working one, not a decorative one. Cook a full breakfast before a park day, then eat at the wooden dining table and bench or out on the deck. Bring your own cooking oil and spices; everything else is here.



GETTING AROUND

Community pool and boat dock access come with your stay as well, so bring the extra towel.

- Dollywood's Splash Country — 15-20 minutes, pack the swimsuits with the park clothes

- The Island in Pigeon Forge — about 15 minutes, dinner, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, and after-dark strolling

- Gatlinburg — 20-25 minutes, for the aquarium, the arts-and-crafts loop, and Ober Gatlinburg

- Great Smoky Mountains National Park — 25-30 minutes to trailheads, waterfalls, and the drive that makes you put the phone down



You get Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on your schedule, then come back up the mountain to a cabin that actually feels like a retreat instead of a motel with a view.



Getting Around:

Getting around is easy and convenient, with most attractions just a short drive away. Having a car is highly recommended, as public transportation in the area is limited.

🏔 Gatlinburg – Around 25–35 minutes depending on traffic.

🌲 Great Smoky Mountains National Park – Approximately 25–40 minutes to main entrances.



🚕 Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are available but can be limited during peak times.

🛣 Roads are paved but may be winding as you approach the property, which is typical for mountain areas.

Free on-site parking is included for your stay — pull in, unload, and you're set. No permits, no shuffling between lots, no added fees.

- Maximum occupancy is 8 guests (2 bedrooms plus the loft with futons)

- No smoking anywhere on the property, including the deck

- No parties or events — this is a private residence for registered guests only

- Quiet hours apply after 10 PM out of respect for the neighboring cabins

- The hot tub is available for your enjoyment during your stay — please follow posted safety guidance and supervise children at all times
