This utterly scenic area boasts a monumental castle (1 mile), a nature reserve teeming with life and the chance to embark on a River Alde boat trip from the quay (1.5 miles). For further superb walking opportunities, head towards Captain’s Wood (2.5 miles) or Snape Maltings (5 miles), always keep your eyes peeled for deer, barn owls and bats amongst other exciting creatures.
