The kitchen, which features a small internal step, has everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze, while the dining area has a wood burner to keep things snug if you linger over dinner. Upstairs there are a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom both 1 step up from the staircase , and a bathroom. Head outside to enjoy the large, enclosed gardens. There is also a patio terrace with furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.


For a day at the beach with buckets and spades or water sports in mind, head to the long sandy beach at nearby Praa Sands (3 miles) or Hendra Beach (2.5 miles). The historic fishing harbour of Porthleven (2.5 miles) is worth visiting and offers a sandy beach. The Cornish Seal Sanctuary (10 miles) has everything you need to know about the sea life and Trebah Garden (14 miles) offers a lovely walk around a subtropical botanical garden that showcases what makes the climate here so special.
