Walkers and fossil hunters will love the scenic 1.5-mile paths to Chapman’s Pool, a quiet cove with fishermen’s huts, or to Winspit (1 mile), a dramatic cliffside quarry ideal for picnics. For a refreshing dip, head to the rocky beach at Seacombe (1 mile), or venture 4 miles to the lively seaside town of Swanage for sandy shores, a heritage railway and an abundance of shops and eateries.


On arrival, step through the front door and into a welcoming hallway that guides you to a spacious lounge on the left. Here you’ll find a sunny bay window overlooking the garden and with distant sea views, a wood burner for cosy evenings and a Smart TV with seating for six. The open-plan kitchen and dining area sits to the rear, with patio doors opening directly onto the garden for easy indoor-outdoor living. A separate utility room off the hallway includes a washing machine, tumble dryer and handy garden access. Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms, a double, and a king-size with an en-suite shower and WC. Next is a separate WC, and a family bathroom with shower over the bath. Upstairs you’ll find another king-size bedroom, a twin room (available on request), and a separate bathroom with bath and WC, all tucked beneath the sloping eaves (please note the head height is restricted in places upstairs).


Outside, the enclosed lawned garden offers space to play and relax, with a trampoline, loungers, a picnic bench and BBQ area, plus a raised deck and a second lawn bordered by stone walls and hedging.
