With cobbled streets lined with independent shops, cafes and galleries, it provides hours of interesting sightseeing. Take a stroll along the sand, 400 metres away, or visit the iconic Whitby Abbey, 1 mile away and see the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. More adventures can be found nearby, with the artists’ village of Staithes 10 miles in one direction and the fossil hunting haven of Robin Hood’s Bay, 5.5 miles in the other.
