Dating back to the 1800's, this charming, former sailors cottage is located just a short walk from Weymouth's picturesque harbourside. A comfortable home from home, this cottage is just right for families looking to explore the Jurassic Coast and take in the abundance of natural beauty throughout Dorset. The spacious yet cosy living room is the real heart of the house, with wood burning stove and plenty of comfortable seating to relax in the cooler months. Through to the modern fitted kitchen, well equipped with everything you need throughout your stay. Patio doors open out to a courtyard garden, with outside seating. Upstairs you will find both bedrooms and the modern family bathroom with 'P' shape bath and overhead shower.


Mariner's Cottage is perfectly located for exploring the local area and attractions, within just a short walk you reach Weymouth harbour, with a mix of independent coffee shops, galleries and plenty of eateries for all tastes from seafood to pub grub! From the cottage you can also reach Newton's Cove, a popular shallow water beach with rock pools for exploring, it is a firm favourite with locals all year round! Walk through the Nothe Gardens, soaking up the dramatic coastal scenery until you reach the Nothe Fort - built to defend the town in WWII. Take a trip further afield on one of the many boat trips that run from the harbour, explore sailing and watersports at Portland Marina or even pack a picnic and see where the day takes you.
