Take your pick from two lounge areas both with large, squashy sofas, separated by patio doors which can be thrown open in warm weather to create an indoor-outdoor living space. A spacious, country-style kitchen with light wooden cabinets has everything you need to prepare meals for a crowd and a dining table seating six sets the scene for memorable mealtimes. When night falls, get cosy beneath the covers in one of three bedrooms. Take your pick from a ground floor twin with an en-suite and two double bedrooms on the first floor, which share access to the family bathroom. The rural village of Gresham boasts the ruins of an ancient castle and is close to two National Trust properties, Felbrigg Hall (4 miles) and Blickling Hall (9 miles). Visit the pretty Georgian market town of Holt (6 miles) for an array of independent shops and restaurants and an expansive country park. The coastal towns of Sheringham (4 miles) and Cromer (6 miles) offer sandy beaches, traditional seaside activities and an abundance of charm.
