Trecastle is ideally situated for exploring the northern part of the Brecon Beacons, with the historic village of Sennybridge (3 miles) to the east and the bustling market town of Llandovery (9.5 miles) to the west. The immediate area offers miles of breathtaking walks, with local landmarks including The Red Kite Feeding Station at Llanddeusant, Cefn Llechid and Glasfynnedd Forest on the shores of the Usk Reservoir, all within 8 miles. The thriving town of Brecon (12 miles) is perfect for walks along the river and the canal.
