There's a bunk room with custom wood bunks, a mounted TV, and plenty of space for the kids to play.
You'll be nestled in the forest in the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, only four miles from downtown Truckee, where you can do a little shop browsing or dining, or hang out for coffee with the locals at Coffeebar or Dark Horse. In the winter, head to the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski area, only three miles from you, or for a more challenging time on the slopes, head west 10 miles to Sugar Bowl, or east 13 miles to Northstar. In the summer, spend some time at Donner Lake for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, or swimming and lolling in the sun at the west-end beach.
The open-design living area is expansive and bright with vaulted, wood plank ceilings, and plentiful large windows. Bask in the warm profusion of sunshine filtering in and plan out your days with the help of the high-speed free WiFi, settle in to watch a show on the 65-inch flatscreen TV, or read a book while you warm up with the fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped and offers lots of storage and counter space, as well as a dishwasher, so meal prep and clean-up is made easy. You can also pack light for your trip and keep the laundry under control, thanks to the private washer/dryer. And don't forget the private hot tub or the balcony with new patio furniture to enjoy the mountain views! This family-friendly home also has an extensive collection of movies and games.

STR cards are welcome at the private amenities approximately 332 days of the year. To prioritize member access during the holidays, STR Tenant restrictions are being implemented on the following dates:

July 1-5 (July 4th)
Sept 5-7 (Labor Day)
Nov 26-29 (Thanksgiving Day)
Dec 24-Jan 3, 2027 (Christmas/New Year’s holiday)

The house location is great and the layout of the house is really good for families (the bunk room is very fun!). The beds, furniture and bedding are in great condition. **Note! If you're coming during the winter, the driveway is very steep and curved! Makes for fun sledding but you will not be able to drive up unless the plow has come! (And it comes once a day, so if it's actively snowing you're pretty much screwed). We had to track down a person with a plow and ended up paying them to come plow it twice when we needed to leave the house and then come back and couldn't get up the driveway. The host says this is your responsibility, but does not tell you in the house description that the driveway is inaccessible during snow storms. Also, you can't park on the street, so we had to twice just wait in the car until we got someone with a plow to come by.

Great cabin in the snow. Kids had a blast playing with snow and we all enjoyed lounging in the toasty living room in the evenings. The kids room was perfect and adorable- built in bunk beds for all the kids was perfect. We look forward to booking next year!

The cabin was nice and clean. The cabin is located in a quiet area. It had all the amenities for our stay. Very close to Donner Lake and nearby trails. Highly recommend this place.

Great space, just a few things were not working and it got hot in the summer with no blinds on the massive living room windows and the fan was not working.
