Head into the market town of Southwell, 1.5 miles away to potter in the shops, dine out and see the famous Southwell Minster. You can also go to the races, play golf and visit the National Trust's fascinating former Victorian workhouse. Plan a day out to the magnificent Sherwood Forest, 16 miles away, to follow the leafy trails through the woods that Robin Hood and his merry men were said to frequent. Picturesque Clumber Park ,17 miles away, with its 3800 acre estate, walled gardens and lake, is also well worth a visit. Venture 20 miles to Bolsover castle with its colourful history and fountain garden. Wonder along the banks of the nearby River Trent and admire the wonderful views. In the village itself and just two minutes walk away is the popular village pub which offers an excellent a la carte menu along with set menu, bar menu and Sunday lunch.

Pull into the quiet lane in Halam, and park conveniently in front of the single-level accommodation. Although this is located in the owner's own back garden, guests can rest assured they will have their own privacy. Make your way inside and into the galley kitchen, arranged to allow you to prepare holiday meals with ease. Unpack your groceries, put on the kettle and make a cup of tea. The kitchen flows easily through to the open plan lounge/diner. Wander into the lounge space, with its plump leather seating. Spend cosy evenings in here together in front of the Smart TV, and as the day draws to a close, make your way through to the welcoming double bedroom, where you will find ample storage space. This room benefits from a refreshing en-suite shower room.

Carry your coffee out into the garden (shared with the owner) and plan the days activities. There is parking for two cars at the property.
