Good location, clean and modern property considering the price too, good value for money. Had fresh towels, AC, TV but don’t think the Netflix works in Tiranë, hot water was available, utensils, secure keyless lock, covers and all sorts of basic amenities you’d need to be comfortable, you might need to get a few items you need personally - was able to cook often as it was also walking distance from a busy market - with all types of shops - from money exchanges to restaurants or barber, you won’t need to travel for anything at all, and somehow the neighborhood is still quiet enough too. Met a lot of lovely people locally, there’s also a supermarket at the bottom floor. Honestly, removing my experience with the host, it’s an easy 9/10. A few things here and there need fixing in the apartment but doubt you’d miss them much. Enjoyed my first day or so as host was initially polite and accommodating.

I personally found the Host to be more sensitive and suspicious than is necessary at times, they might not have bad intentions and understandably claim to be doing their job but this could be overwhelming and uncomfortable for some if you like your privacy and just trying to have a peaceful good time. Not sure if it’s the bias of looking young or different race, but it felt like they assume everyone might be a chaotic party animal type of guest so even the slightest indication that anyone is visiting you for any reason could be a reason for them to bombard you with calls, messages and grill you once they see any slightest thing on camera, which made me feel like I was constantly being monitored and at times even blamed for actions done by other flats so I was left confused half of the time, and sometimes woken from sleep I desperately needed by the calls or messages. In general, just be prepared to be under surveillance (camera above the front door) and contacted by a nervous host to challenge you on everything even if you follow all the rules, especially if anyone visits you at some point. Hopefully they work on this going forward as the experience would have been near perfect otherwise, or maybe it was just a bias they had against me specifically so might not affect future guests 🤷🏾‍♂️
