I absolutely loved how clean the Brownstone was, and as several reviews mentioned, the location was fantastic! The attention to detail throughout the space was evident and made the stay feel welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The Brownstone was very clean, with neutral colors complemented by little pops of color from the throw pillows. Fresh towels and linens were provided, and the host was available to answer any questions if needed. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including tea (one of my favorites!) and creamer for the coffee drinkers. My only suggestion would be to add a couple of cozy throw blankets, especially during the chilly weather. Other than that, the stay was wonderful! There were also several places within walking distance, which was a huge plus and meant we didn’t have to rely on the T every time we wanted to explore the area. Overall, a lovely, clean, and well-thought-out space in a great location. I would definitely recommend it!

Our Brownstone was on the first level, and on a few mornings, I could hear people talking and trash bins being moved in the alley behind the building between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. While this didn’t happen every morning, the noise from the trash bins was more frequent than I would have liked, especially since my family and I were still sleeping. It was a little frustrating to be awakened so early. Lastly, neither of these things was a deal breaker, but I would have loved to see a little fall décor on the steps of the Brownstones. Given the area’s rich history and the beautiful architecture, I thought that would have been a lovely seasonal touch and something that would have added to the overall experience. Overall, these were minor suggestions that could make an already lovely stay even better!

Excellent location and very well maintained rooms.

There was a lingering smoke smell.

Great hotel experience while visiting Boston!

The amenities were new and clean. Had most things we needed.

There was a party that happened underneath us the night we stayed, at a room that was rented by the property. It kept us up all night long. The staff seemed not concerned at all the next day when we reported it to them.
