Guest Access:

This is your private retreat for the duration of your stay -- full run of the house. This home welcomes 1 dog -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

Stretching along ten miles of the Sonoma Coast, The Sea Ranch offers a rare blend of coastal wilderness and thoughtfully designed homes. Nearby highlights include community heated pool (North) (2-minute drive), Shell Beach tidepools (8-minute drive), The Sea Ranch Lodge restaurant, lounge and café (8-minute drive). Trails lead from your door to the bluffs, beaches, and through the forest. Heated pools, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge round out the amenities. For provisions, Gualala (10 minutes north) has grocery stores, restaurants, and a gas station. Jenner and Bodega Bay are scenic drives south.



Getting Around:

The drive from San Francisco is approximately 2.5 hours via Highway 101 to Highway 1. Fly into Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, about 1.5 hours east, and rent a car. The Highway 1 drive along the coast is spectacular and worth building into your travel day.



Other Things to Note:

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.



Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.



Keep your eyes on the horizon from December to April -- gray whales migrate just offshore, and this property has a front-row seat. Visit in spring and the meadows explode with wildflowers. April through June is peak bloom season along the Sonoma Coast. The warmest months are June through September. Expect coastal fog most mornings that gives way to sunny afternoons.



Welcome to bring 1 dog (up to 50 lbs.). Please keep your dog on a leash on trails and clean up after them.
