Raglan West Cottage is a cosy, beach-inspired home just over Raglan`s iconic one-lane bridge on the surf side of town. Within easy walking or biking distance of Ngarunui Beach, local cafes and scenic walking tracks, it suits couples, solo travellers and small families seeking convenience, comfort and coastal character. The cottage sleeps up to five.

Everything is within easy reach: Ngarunui Beach is a five-minute drive or scenic bike ride away, and cafes, playgrounds and the inner harbour are an easy stroll. The cottage sits on the main route to Raglan`s highlights, including world-class surf breaks and popular mountain bike trails.

The home is equipped for both relaxation and adventure: bikes and surf gear for exploring land and sea, a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, a wood-burning fireplace for cosy evenings, and complimentary Wi-Fi with a dedicated workspace (desk, monitor and keyboard) for remote work. The whole property is yours to enjoy, so make yourself at home and settle into the laidback Raglan rhythm.

Please note the cottage is on Raglan`s main coastal road, so traffic noise can be heard day and night, which may not suit light sleepers. Linen and towels are included (excluding beach towels).

Surfers will love the big waves at Manu Bay, and Raglan`s cafes, arts scene and supermarket are close by.

- Strictly no smoking indoors. If you smoke outdoors, remove butts from the property on departure.
- Residential area - Quiet time from 10pm to 9am.
- Events and parties are not permitted without prior arrangement. Guests limited to number booked. Extra charge if exceeded.
- BBQ (if available): clean with supplied cleaner after use. Cleaning fee if left dirty.
- Rubbish: 1x full blue bag allowed. Take extra with you or use a local refuse station (see house info folder).
- Recycling: 1x full bin per stay. Extra: take with you or $25/box disposal charge.
- No EV charging.
- Left belongings: $20 minimum return fee plus courier cost.
- Motion-sensor security camera may be present at entrance door. Footage may be reviewed if misconduct is suspected.

To protect your stay and our properties, ID verification is required before access details are released, and your booking is conditional on completing it. After payment, you`ll get a secure link to the property portal and will need to verify with a photo ID and a quick selfie — access details are released automatically once it`s done. Takes a few minutes; your data is handled securely by the portal operator, SuiteOp. Failure to complete ID verification will result in your booking being cancelled. Cancellation fees may apply.
