Über diese apartment dieses Ferienunterkunft
The Velvet Thistle is a beautifully restored period home in the heart of Inverness, just moments from the River Ness. Thoughtfully renovated throughout, it offers a calm and stylish space to relax and enjoy your Highland stay, with soft, soothing colours and elegant touches.
Downstairs, you will find a spacious dining room with a wood burning stove, a large table perfect for gathering, and even an old school record player. This space flows into a warm and inviting living room with plenty of comfortable seating and a smart TV. To the rear of the house is a generous, fully equipped kitchen with a feature stove, a small seating area, and a utility room.
Outside, there is a private enclosed garden where you can unwind and enjoy the sauna after a day of exploring.
Upstairs, there are three lovely bedrooms, each with comfortable UK king size beds and plenty of storage. The house has a modern family shower room with a large walk in shower, as well as a separate bathroom with a beautiful roll top bath. Please note there is one shower and one bath in the property.
The Velvet Thistle is the perfect base for a relaxing Highland escape, combining character, comfort, and a fantastic central location.
At Ness Holiday Homes, we take pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and well-equipped properties. Upon arrival, we’ll ensure the apartment is warm and welcoming, with the heating and lights on so you can settle right in. A local guidebook with recommendations will also be provided to help you make the most of your visit. Should you need any assistance, I’m happy to help throughout your stay.

Wonderful cottage in a great location! Jill was an outstanding host who was very responsive and delightful to interact with. The home is well equipped, tastefully decorated, very cozy and nice touches everywhere. Excellent instructions with detailed information about the home and local places and activities. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back in the future.
