Just 30 meters from the cortijo’s entrance runs the Caz Mayor irrigation canal, mentioned in documents after the Reconquista—an Andalusi canal that has supported irrigation and the economy of the Vega de Baza for centuries.



Cortijo Huerta Real is located in the Ribera de Baza, where you can enjoy family walks through the area, discovering gardens, fountains, and old cortijos, always with the Sierra de Baza as a backdrop.
