Stella Maris

I booked this trip within a month of going and I wanted a quiet resort near to the beach with breakfast and with a pool and suitable for a solo traveller. It matched all my requirements. I had a lovely twin room on the first floor with a balcony over looking the pool and the beautiful beach. The hotel wasn't too busy but that was probably the time of year, but that suited me. The breakfast was served in a seafront restaurant called Seaside Marmari. It was a buffet style and very plentiful. There was fruit, various breads, continental, sweet treats and full cooked breakfast. Help yourself to as much coffee and juice as needed. Mike who worked in the restaurant was very attentive and put everyone at ease in the restaurant. He was always happy and smiling. They also did an evening buffet which changed. I am vegan and the chef Anna cooked something for me which was lovely but there was plenty of salad, fruit and bread. I went there on a couple of occasions. On the beach they had plenty of sun loungers which were 5 euros for the day and nicely spaced out so you weren't on top of each other. Perfect for sunbathing and reading. Mike would serve drinks to you at the loungers. They music wasn't too loud, just nice, chilled tunes. The restaurant was spotless and a very clean. My room was cleaned every day with new towels.
