The outstanding view and proximity to the beautiful lakeside. The size and decor of the apartment. The great communication with the coordinator Laurene from start to finish. The friendly and informative welcome from Barbara on arrival. The location close to Annecy itself, amenities and public transport. Free parking. Strong shower pressure and the double sinks in the bathroom.

We knew already that the balcony was boarded in parts so it will be even nicer when it is fully repaired. It's a shame there isn't space for a bigger double bed in the quieter bedroom with the best view but we adapted. The window in the larger bedroom had to be kept closed as there was a bit of road noise from outside. Just in case any potential guests don't read everything in the description, it is a second floor apartment without a lift. We are in our mid 60's and not as fit as we could be for carrying luggage up and down but anyone younger or fitter should be fine. 😆 If staying for longer it would be good to have something to hang small washing on. A long mirror would be nice but probably not essential for most! And a very small thing really but the chargeable lamps in the smaller bedroom didn't seem to work after I charged them.
