Take all of nature in with a large wrap around screened-in porch containing mountain views with fall foilage, on a large private 10 acre wooded parcel of land. Perfect for history buffs, bird watchers, woodlore enthusiasts, geologists, book readers, painters, hikers, bikers, nature seekers and adventurers in general.
Located at the top of a hill at the end of a private quarter mile driveway surrounded by woods, farm lands and glacier erratics, this charming space is ideal for a family or group. It features five bedrooms containing one queen bed, a queen bed pull-out sofa, a double bed and three twin beds, along with two connecting full bathrooms. A cozy fireplace keeps the lodge warm and inviting during cooler evenings. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, this pleasant mountain camp lodge offers a terrific base for your getaway. The property is a short 5 minute walking distance from historic downtown Tamworth and all it has to offer including The Tamworth History Center, Barnstormers Theater, the Tamworth Bakery coffee shop, Eldridge's Pop Shoppe, Remick Museum and petting farm, Tamworth Distilling, Remick Park children's playground, The Tamworth Farmers Market and the Swift River. Only a short drive still within the town of Tamworth there are White Mountains hiking trails, State Parks, town beaches, restaurants, a "highly rated" New Hampshire breakfast and lunch diner, pubs, concert venue, mushroom farm, maple sugar & ice cream house, winery and brewery.
