Plateau Mont-Royal, simply called Le Plateau, is one of Montreal’s most vibrant and culturally rich neighbourhoods. It is known for its artistic atmosphere, historic architecture, and lively community.
The Plateau is often considered one of the best places to experience the essence of Montreal—creative, eclectic, and full of life.

Key Features:

- Architecture 🏡: The area is characterized by classic Montreal-style triplexes, colourful facades, iconic winding staircases, and charming back alleys.

- Cultural Hub 🎭🎶📖: Home to many artists, musicians, and writers, the Plateau has a bohemian spirit and is filled with art galleries, indie theatres, and live music venues.

- Parks & Green Spaces 🌳🚴‍♂️🦆: The neighbourhood is close to Parc La Fontaine and Mont Royal, a scenic urban park with large green spaces, ponds, and paths for walking and cycling.

- Trendy Shops & Cafés 🛍️📚☕: Rue Saint-Denis, Avenue Mont-Royal, and Boulevard Saint-Laurent are packed with independent boutiques, vintage stores, bookstores, and cozy cafés.

- Diverse Food Scene 🥯🍽️🍷: From classic bagels at Fairmount and St-Viateur to international cuisine, the Plateau is a foodie’s paradise. It’s also home to some of the city’s best bistros and terraces.

The apartment is located near public transportation such as STM buses and the Sherbrooke subway station (7 mins walking). The newly constructed bike path is right in front of your doorstep allowing you to navigate the city in full control. Many nearby parks offer the best walking routes the city has to offer.
