Everything was great! Love the house and location!

This was our second time staying here in the Fall. It is so cozy! We love the location! We were able to enjoy some hiking and the beautiful Fall colors in the area. The cottage is clean and exactly how it is described.

It was a nice getaway for the weekend. Great and easy access to all that Walloon has to offer

Overall, a nice stay and a cute place but for the following:
1) even with a whole house H-Vac system, a wall AC unit, and ceiling fans running at full speed, it took three days for the house to cool from 85 to 71 degrees;
2) an infestation of midges and fruitflies in the lower level bathroom;
3) a very sensitive and fragile septic system, wherein the toilet waste has to pump uphill into the tank;
4) zero actual help from either Vacasa or the property owner on the cooling issue; and
5) a very stubborn key pad lock whse buttons would not operate if not held down in a certain way (on one occasion it took 20 minutes of trying to get the door unlocked.
As a result, if these items would be a problem for you, do not rent. I was gone most of five days at a conference, and am not requesting a refund of any kind. But in combination, these issues may be problematic for others.
