Über diese haus dieses Ferienunterkunft
From November through March, whale watching—including mothers and their calves—is a breathtaking experience; you can also spot giant manta rays, dolphins, and a wide variety of marine life. It’s also the best time of year for a vacation—everything is green, generally mosquito-free, and the nights are very cool.
If you prefer more extreme weather, from September through October we have rains that bring a fresh scent of the earth; mornings are usually sunny, and starting around 3–4 p.m., it begins to cloud over and rain. Beautiful views. And by October, it’s hurricane season, but thanks to our location nestled among the mountains.
When spring arrives, it’s our dry season; the landscape isn’t very green but is full of flowers, and there’s a great sense of joy in the town.
The house has two stories: on the first floor, there’s a living room, a dining room with a game table, a full bathroom, a double sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen designed for long stays, plus a terrace. To reach the upper floor, there’s an outdoor staircase (as shown in the photo), providing privacy if you have guests staying on the sofa bed.
The second floor features a very spacious bedroom with a large window overlooking the town, the mountains, and, to a lesser extent, the ocean; a full bathroom; and a walk-in closet for a very comfortable stay. The balcony includes a fire pit and a lounge chair. The air conditioners work perfectly, and we offer STARLINK satellite internet service for digital nomads.
If you’re looking for a hassle-free vacation—quiet and insect-free—this isn’t the place for you, since the town holds its own festivals, we immerse ourselves in the natural environment of the region’s wildlife; it’s a somewhat isolated town where power outages can occur occasionally. So we invite you to our home to live like an authentic, simple villager—ready to enjoy life as it comes! And of course, you’ll be welcomed as family.
We have a pool in the common area that you’ll share with our guests from El Nido de las Iguanas (3 guests max.) My Tropical Home (max. 2 guests), and my family! We also have gardens and fruit trees where you can enjoy freshly picked fruit.
