The house and property were beautiful! The house was well stocked with dishes ect!, the house was very clean ! I highly recommend this company! We'll be back next year!!!

Great last minute get away before kids head back to school. The house is everything you would expect from a north woods cabin and more. The place is rustic but very clean and the grounds are well maintained. Linens were new and the beds were super comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need including an electric griddle. Coffee maker could use an update but was sufficient to make a pot. Not a host issue but be sure to know before you go that cell/internet is hit or miss in the area, our teen boys barely survived! Use of the kayaks was an added bonus and saved us from hauling a boat for the weekend. The spiral stairs could be troublesome for those with mobility issues but an easy walkaround to the screened in porch to enter if needed. Plenty of wildlife around and great river fishing just off the pier. Neighbors were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Fire pit was great and they even have wood available for sale on property for a small charge. Overall the place is very secluded and peaceful yet close to town and the amenities of the area. Early check in was available through Vacasa but we unfortunately missed the 10am checkout time. The owner stopped by and let us know but was very understanding that we lost track of time and thought it was 11 am checkout. Would definitely recommend this rental and would stay again. JM

Nice property and on the river! Some furniture could be updated but overall a nice place for quiet time and nature enjoyment!
