OUTDOORS
The property covers more than 500 m², with a 200 m² lawn and several outdoor areas:
- At the back, overlooking the Mediterranean: small fruit trees (orange, mandarin, lemon, walnut, and fig) and a large wooden terrace for dinners under the stars
- Sun deck with two lounge chairs, a pergola with a retractable awning, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill
- Inflatable bubble jacuzzi (optional, May through September only, subject to availability, must be requested before arrival; 50 euros per stay, refunded if a malfunction prevents its use)
- At the front: parking space for one car and a small terrace with rosemary, lavender, strawberry plants, and bamboo
The entire property is fenced, located in a quiet, private residential area. For security, an outdoor camera at the main entrance monitors the parking area and the driveway; there are no cameras inside the house, and no audio is recorded.

THE AREA
A 10-minute walk takes you to the center of Argentona, with its cobblestone streets and a Gothic church restored by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The town has a long tradition of ceramics; we recommend the Pitcher Museum (Museu del Càntir), which houses pieces by Picasso.
The house is just steps away from the Serralada Litoral Natural Park, with hiking and mountain biking trails that wind through streams and pine-covered hills. One of the most scenic trails leads to Burriac Castle, offering views of the coast.
The beaches of Cabrera de Mar and Mataró are about a 15-minute drive away. We recommend the seaside promenade in Vilassar de Mar and Port Balís in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, known for its rice dishes. Other nearby options: cycling at La Poma (Premià de Dalt), go-karting in Granollers, the Illa Fantasia water park, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, water sports in the ports of Mataró and Premià de Mar, Montseny, and the Costa Brava (45 minutes).

GETTING THERE
A car is recommended: the town center is within walking distance, but there is a significant uphill section. There is parking for one car on the property and plenty of free street parking. Without a car, take the R1 train to Mataró and then a taxi (about 10 euros).

- Pets: maximum 2, for an additional fee. The property has a 1.80 m perimeter fence, and the garden is enclosed by a 1 m fence.
- For stays longer than 2 weeks, an additional cleaning service is required (55 euros).
- Garden maintenance may take place during your stay, always with prior notice; it never involves entering the house.
- Bed linens, towels, and basic amenities are provided.
- Airport transfers can be arranged at a fixed rate.

This accommodations are suitable for families or groups of adults aged 21 or older.

According to local regulations, all guests must present a valid ID (DNI or passport) for traveler registration. Babies under 2 years old must also be registered, but they do not count toward the maximum occupancy.

A €300 deposit is required via credit card upon arrival (not applicable to Airbnb reservations). The deposit will be refunded to the same card within 7 days after check-out, following an inspection of the property.

The following charges may be deducted from the deposit: lost or unreturned key set, €100; stained (sunscreen, makeup, shoe soles, discoloration) or damaged bed linens or towels, €15 each; smoking inside the property, €150 for extra cleaning and deodorization; more than 2 bags of trash left at check-out, €50; pet waste not collected from the garden, €100; additional hour of extraordinary cleaning due to the condition in which the property is left, €17 + VAT (21%). For Airbnb reservations, any of these charges, as well as damage and penalties, will be claimed through Airbnb’s AirCover.

Tourist tax not included: it must be paid at the rate applicable at the time of check-in. It applies per guest (aged 17 and older) and per night, with a maximum charge of seven nights.

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.

A crib (€15) and/or a booster seat (€5) are available upon request, subject to availability. This fee is charged directly and is never deducted from the security deposit.

Pets are welcome (maximum 2), with a fee of €35 per pet per stay. Pets are not allowed on the sofa or the beds (a pet bed is provided), and their waste must be picked up from the garden and disposed of properly. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.

Parties and celebrations of any kind are not allowed. Please respect the neighbors’ quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.: no music or noise outdoors.

Very important: only the guests listed on the reservation may stay at the property. Overnight stays by anyone else constitute a very serious violation and may result in significant penalties. Daytime visitors must obtain prior authorization from Opening Doors and must leave by 10:00 PM.

Smoking is not allowed inside the property; it is permitted in outdoor areas, provided you use ashtrays and never discard cigarette butts in the garden. Barbecues and outdoor fires are permitted only in the designated barbecue and fire pit areas and may be restricted during droughts or when required by local regulations. The fireplace may be used but must never be left unattended. Please do not enter the unlandscaped areas of the property (the lower part of the back garden).

Keep doors and windows closed when you are not at the property. Turn off the lights and air conditioning when you are not at home. We kindly ask you to avoid waste and use electricity, water, and gas responsibly. Excessive consumption may result in deductions from the security deposit.

The hot tub is optional, available only from May through September, subject to availability, and must be requested before arrival. It costs €50 per stay; if a malfunction prevents its use, this amount will be refunded. Do not eat, drink, or pour anything into the water, and do not use sunscreen or oils, as they damage the filters. Any behavior that may endanger people or damage the facilities is strictly prohibited. Children must be supervised by adults at all times. The property is not liable for injuries resulting from improper use of the facilities.

Trash must be sorted (organic, plastic, paper, glass, and general waste) and taken out according to the municipal collection schedule, which you will find in the check-in instructions and on a reminder sign in the house. A maximum of 2 bags of trash may be left at check-out. If you prefer not to follow the schedule, you can take the waste to the public dumpsters in Mataró, a 5-minute drive away. Before leaving, please also load your dishes into the dishwasher.

Please note that a Short-Term Rental Agreement, detailing the terms summarized here, must be signed via the online check-in form before your stay.
