Triton Exotica

The hotel is brand new, modern, very clean, and has excellent air conditioning. The staff were genuinely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The absolute highlight is the rooftop pool with its spectacular 360° panoramic views, especially at sunset. One evening, we watched a rainstorm approaching across the ocean during sunset, which was an unforgettable experience. The views from the ocean-facing balconies are also beautiful. The location is very convenient, particularly if you're arriving or departing by speedboat, as it's close to the harbor. If you're looking for a clean, modern hotel with strong AC, beautiful views, and a lovely rooftop pool, Triton Exotica has a lot going for it.

Unfortunately, the hotel has several design and operational shortcomings. Although the rooms are modern, the shelving, storage, and overall layout of closet and bathrooms aren't particularly practical or comfortable. The balconies are extremely narrow, with chairs positioned sideways because of the limited space. Two people can sit outside, but it's very cramped, with almost no room to move around. The views are beautiful, but the balcony design makes it difficult to actually enjoy the space. Each room receives only ONE key, which is incredibly inconvenient when sharing a room. If one person leaves with the key, the other must wait for someone from reception to come upstairs and unlock the door. I emailed before arriving there was a birthday and there was no acknowledgement. We booked half board, including breakfast and dinner buffets, and unfortunately regretted it. The selection was very limited and repetitive, and the overall food quality was disappointing. Even a burger ordered separately wasn't good, and we were told the burgers were prepared earlier in the day. I would strongly recommend booking without the meal package and exploring other dining options/tours on the island. Laundry prices seemed unusually high. We booked excursions through the hotel, but the boats were overcrowded, with more than 40 passengers on some outings. This felt more like a mass-group excursion than the relaxed, personalized experience we had expected. I'd recommend comparing smaller-group tour operators before booking. (A girl got bit on the shark tour, poor first aid given) The gym and spa were not yet open during our stay, so we couldn't use those facilities. Overall, Triton Exotica is a good choice for modern accommodations, excellent staff, convenient harbor access, and incredible rooftop views.

The rooftop pool is fantastic, and our room was perfect, spacious, modern, spotless and very comfortable. The bed was also incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is great, very close to the port, which makes it really convenient, especially for excursions and transfers. A huge thank you to the entire team for being so kind and welcoming. Whether at reception, in the restaurant or during the excursions, everyone was incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We truly felt taken care of throughout our entire stay. We enjoyed some amazing activities and had such a wonderful experience. The hotel also offers excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back! ✨❤️
